Abigail Buckingham began her career on the Goldsmiths’ Centre’s Foundation Programme in 2012. As one of the first year of participants in the first year of the programme, she learned the different skills of the trade from engraving to enamelling to setting. She then continued her training as an Apprentice in diamond mounting, working in her father’s silversmithing business in North Lincolnshire.  In 2017 she successfully completed her apprenticeship and was given the Freedom of the City of London and the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths.
